David Whittaker is a Chartered Management Accountant with 18 years post qualification experience. Sixteen years of his post qualification experience has been spent on financial / business modelling and systems development related projects. He has experience in both management and financial accounting. He has extensive experience in management reporting, business planning, financial analysis, capital and investment appraisals, corporate finance, project finance, pfi ppp projects and bids over a wide number of industries. He is highly excel literate with best practice financial and business modelling skills. He has experience in industry and commerce, practice and public sector organisations. More over he has spent 6 years in two big four financial modelling practices and is an author in CIMA’s Financial Management journal in financial modelling articles.

He is the author of Euromoney’s book “PFI PPP Financial Modelling & Analysis – A Practical Guide”.

He is the workshop leader in financial modelling for pfi / ppp at the bid, financial close stage and operating stage association with SMI.

Emmanuel Kanabe BA (Hons) MBA MCMI
Principal Consultant

Emmanuel Kanabe is an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional with extensive experience in delivering in FP&A roles across a broad section of industries and world class organisations.

In the past 10 years he has worked as an FP&A consultant for a number of organisations, including leading the business planning process for Centrica Business Services, assisting the Cendant corporation both in London and Asia Pacific with acquisitions and post acquisition planning and analysis.

More recently he has been working at the Royal Mail Group / Post Office on a number of business development and strategic initiatives, this involved working with a cross section of the organisation and providing analysis for the Executive team to make key strategic decisions.

Prior to his consulting career Emmanuel Kanabe was the Head of Planning and Analysis for PeopleSoft EMEA, in this role of was responsible for the business planning and forecasting/budgeting of all the nine countries in the region and consolidating their numbers to the Regional Managing Director and Finance Director. In this role he reported directly to the Regional Finance Director with a dotted reporting line to the Global CFO in the states.

Emmanuel has a BA (Hons) Degree in Accounting and Finance from Nottingham Business School (Nottingham Trent University), an Executive MBA from Kingston business School (Kingston University). Emmanuel has also attended several executive education programmes at the Harvard Business School.

Emmanuel has a first class interpersonal and communication skill and leads by example, having worked for a broad range of organisations in different environments. Emmanuel is comfortable working at all levels within an organisation. As a consultant for the past 10 years, Emmanuel has well developed project management skills and has over 15 years experience of developing and building complex models. His modelling and analysis skills consistently received high praise from clients.
